The invalbende of 5 men who were arrested Monday afternoon along the Uyo road to Port Harcourt, is popularly known for terrorizing and robbing people of their items on that road.
The raid consisting of 3 indigenous inhabitants of Akawibom and 2 from rivers with the names Udo Etim, Lawrence James, Victor Moses, Chigozie Uzo and Emeka Uche were captured by men of the Nigerian police in the early hours of Monday after the exchange of a series of bullets at the police.
The gang leader who confesses after many police interrogations said they have a strong indigenous physician in Ghana who carries out powers for them through the use of newborn babies, according to Lawrence aka sharpiro said they would not have been caught if the man were not dead, he said that every time they want to renew their strength, they always go with 3 to 4 newborn babies.
"We buy newborn babies from daycare centers and mothers to make charms against bullets," confesses leader of infamous armed robbers.
At the request of the Assistant Inspector General of the police, who is responsible for the case where they have these babies, the gang leader replied that he usually buys it in maternity rooms and sometimes from mothers who give birth and who no longer want the children.
According to the police, more investigations are being conducted and the perpetrator will be tried immediately.
