Atiku Abubauakar, former Democratic People's Party Vice-President and
Presidential of 2019, has asked President Buhari to "not rationalize
murders."
This is the fact that about 90 percent of all victims of Boko Haram have been Muslims.
They include a copycat kidnapping of more than 100 Muslim schoolgirls, along with their single Christian classmate, shootings in mosques; and killing 2 prominent imams.
Atiku made the statement while responding to President Buhari's statement that 90 percent of Boko Haram's victims were Muslims in recent years.
In response to the
President's comment, Atiku Abubakar said that killing people regardless
of religion should be unambiguously condemned.
Whether it is a Christian, Muslim, traditionalist or atheist, the killing of a person, by Boko Haram, or a wrong group, is wrong and must be condemned unambiguously.
