Nigerian man falls to his death from 12th floor while allegedly running from Indonesian Immigration officers (video)

A young Nigerian man died after falling from the 12th floor of his apartment, allegedly trying to evade officers from the immigration office.

The man, also known as Ogodor, comes from Uli, the state of Anambra, and fell out of the Gading Nias apartment in Jakarta, Indonesia on Thursday, January 23, 2020.

There are conflicting reports about how he died. Some Nigerians in Indonesia claim that while he tried to run away from the officers, Ogodor tried to cross over to his neighbor's house through a narrow ledge, but he slipped and fell.

Nevertheless, the Nigerian neighbors demand answers from Ogodor because they claim they have not heard of an immigration raid on the area.

Ogodor friends - who seem to be popular because of the number of messages shared to mourn him - have compiled videos that show Ogodor at different times in his life to honor him.
